on-island, off Route 278; 7.5 miles from resort.
Hilton Head Island is 100 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina,
and 45 miles north of historic Savannah, Georgia, 35 miles south of
Beaufort, South Carolina.
By Auto
From I-95 take Exit 8 (Highway 278). Once you cross the bridge to the
Island, stay left onto the Cross Island Parkway that becomes
Palmetto Bay Road. Take Palmetto Bay Road to Sea Pines Circle. Exit
the Circle onto Highway 278 (third turn off the circle). Make a right
into Shipyard Plantation (third light).
By Air
Most major airlines serve Savannah International Airport (SAV), a 50-minute
drive from the Resort. Commuter flights serve Hilton Head Island Airport
(HHH) daily.
By Boat
Located on the Intra-Coastal Waterway, Hilton Head Island has a number of marinas (and restaurants too) that offer daily slip and dock space.
